GOOD FOOD. A LITTLE CURIOSITY.

Your next
good find.

Discover what you want to eat—and where to find it.

Start with a dish, a flavour, a craving—or just a feeling. Find it on restaurant menus, understand it with Pairfection Lens, then choose a drink and make an evening of it. Follow one good find to one restaurant, or craft your own tasting menu across the neighbourhood.

Follow a craving
01 · DISCOVER

Tell us what sounds good.

Try “Thai basil chicken in Boston” or “I love pizza, but want something different.” Choose an area, set a dish budget, and keep exploring your results.

02 · UNDERSTAND

What’s it like?

The Pairfection Lens explains a dish’s taste, texture and familiar comparisons. Look for the P beside a menu item, then explore a drink from that restaurant’s list.

03 · MAKE AN EVENING

Keep the dishes that tempt you.

Add your chosen dishes and drinks to My evening. Share your picks, get directions, or create your own tasting menu across the neighbourhood.

FOOD HAS A GOOD COMPANION

The drink is the last ingredient
you get to choose.

A kitchen puts care into balancing a dish. Your drink can echo a roasted flavour, refresh between rich bites, or bring another part of the food forward. Pairfection explains the idea behind a match so you can explore and decide what you enjoy.

Wine, beer, cider, sake, soju, makgeolli, cocktails or alcohol-free: start with drinks you enjoy and the budget you choose. A thoughtful pairing belongs at an ordinary dinner as much as a special occasion.

Choose a drink for each dish, one drink to accompany several dishes, or a bottle for the table. Keep the matches you like. My evening brings your choices together, ready to share or show your server.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you head out.

Is this for finding restaurants or dishes?

Both. Start with what you want to eat, then discover where to have it. You can also browse restaurants by area and explore their menus directly.

What does the P beside a dish do?

It opens Pairfection Lens: what the dish is, its likely taste and texture, and familiar comparisons. Think “What’s it like?” when a menu name leaves you curious.

Is pairing only for wine?

No. Choose any available beverage lane, including alcohol-free. Suggestions come from that restaurant’s own drinks list and explain how the drink may work with your food.

Can one drink work with several dishes?

Yes. Add dishes from one restaurant to My evening, choose “Find drinks for these dishes,” then select a shared mode. You can inspect the fit for each dish before keeping a drink. A shared bottle appears once in your plan.

We recommend pairing one drink with up to four dishes of similar flavor intensity. As you add more dishes or more contrasting flavors, the pairing becomes more of a compromise. Spicy buffalo wings, delicate steamed fish with dill sauce, and tacos may call for different drinks. Try separate pairings when the flavors pull in different directions.

What do the pairing grades mean?

Excellent fit, Very good fit and Good fit describe estimated compatibility from the available menu details, considering flavor, intensity and possible clashes. Promising fit means the food-and-drink style gives us a useful starting point, but the full comparison is not established. Not enough information and Possible clash remain visible when we cannot support a stronger match.

A shared drink’s overall grade reflects its weakest dish match. These are menu-based estimates, not tasted guarantees; the explanation helps you decide what you would enjoy.

Can I save what I like?

Choose “Save for later” on a dish or drink to keep it in My profile → My wishlist. It is separate from My evening. When you’re ready, use the + on a wishlist card to add it to your evening. Removing it from one list does not remove it from the other.

My taste saves your usual drink lane, preferences and ingredient exclusions. “Just tonight” changes apply to this restaurant’s pairing choices without rewriting your usual taste. Your saved vegan or vegetarian food filter applies to discovery and Surprise me. You can change it for one search without changing My taste. Other food notes are saved for reference.

What gets shared?

A read-only card with your chosen dishes and drinks, original menu descriptions, Pairfection Lens explanations, listed prices, restaurant photos and links to menus and directions. Anyone with the link can view it for 30 days. Your private taste preferences, food notes and raw search text stay private. Preview the card, then share or copy its link.

Does Show server place an order?

No. It is a clear view of your choices to discuss with your server. Nothing is sent to a restaurant, and no payment is taken.

How do I tell you what worked—or didn’t?

Use the feedback form below. A search you enjoyed, a confusing result, or something you wanted to do next is useful. Your feedback goes privately to the Pairfection team.
